Anti-Spam Policy
About Spam
Spam is not merely annoying: it is also a serious drain on the resources of ISPs, other organizations, and Internet users.
Sending Spam mail may seem like a cheap and convenient way to amplify marketing efforts, yet honest businesses rarely employ
this questionable marketing tool.
Nobody wishes to receive unsolicited junk mail. It is considered both an annoyance and an intrusion of privacy. Also, each
transmitted e-mail message contributes to Internet traffic and uses up bandwidth. An e-mail message does not reach its
recipient instantaneously; instead, it is relayed by any number of systems en route until it reaches its final destination.
Spam mail is often sent out in thousands or hundreds of thousands of copies, to huge numbers of unwitting recipients.
This large load of messages often causes network problems and congestion, meaning that third parties as well as message
recipients are suffering.
No-SPAM Policy
Sales Seeker members may not use the Sales Seeker service to transmit UCE (unsolicited mass email), also known as "SPAM".
Sales Seeker maintains a "zero-tolerance" SPAM policy and will immediately terminate any account which it believes, in its
sole discretion, is transmitting unsolicited bulk e-mails or postings, using any Sales Seeker account, or is otherwise
connected with any spamming activities.
Sales Seeker will also pursue severe legal action against members who are involved in SPAM that tampers with the integrity
of its business. These actions start with asking local Internet service providers to deny future service to user, and
continue by contacting users employer or university, local law-enforcement authorities or the US Federal Bureau of
Investigation for further severe legal sanctions.
SPAM includes, but is not limited to, unsolicited emails or postings in discussion groups, bulletin boards, and other public
domain groups. SPAM messages are generally prohibited by most network providers and certain jurisdictions and those users
employing them may be subject to fines and/or imprisonment. Sales Seeker does not allow members to use its service for the
purpose of transmitting SPAM messages. Sales Seeker will automatically terminate all spamming accounts.
Please report all incidents of spamming to abuse@salesseeker.com
